Small footprint. Clear urban identity.
Vinegar Lane draws on the principles and proportions of 1950s modernism. The project brings together two apartments, a ground-floor retail unit and a roof deck within one concise architectural composition.
02 / Why it matters
Mixed use, considered as one place.
The project illustrates how residential, commercial and shared outdoor uses can be resolved within a tightly organised urban form. It is one example of the design judgement Marcus brings across a much broader range of development opportunities where commercial intent, built form and street presence need to work together.
